STATE BALLET SCHOOL OF BERLIN


The school offers a professional dance education with a state certified diploma on completion. In connection with the dance education different models of academic education are possible including A-levels.

Educational opportunities:

9-year or 8-year professional dance education with integrated academic education
5th - 10th form

primary school and secondary school
11th - 13th form

double qualification:

  • professional comprehensive secondary school with intensive course "dance"
  • certificate: A-level (general qualification for university entrance)

or
11th - 13th form

vocational school diploma (professional dancer)

The education is exempt from charges. The accomodation and meals in the boarding school are inexpensive. The pupils can apply for financial assistence.
